Lara Trump, the daughter-in-law of President Donald Trump, revealed new details on her role as an anchor for FOX News during an interview with the New York Post this week.

Trump, 42, the former RNC chair, will debut her new show My View with Lara Trump just weeks after her father-in-law retook office in January, a unique situation that some critics have viewed as a conflict of interest.

“I think it’s an asset,” she told the New York Post. “There are very few people who have the ability to reach out to so many of these folks and have them sit down for a more personal interview and I’m really excited to do it.”

Trump said she plans to give viewers an inside look at the biggest "movers and shakers" in the administration such as Robert F. Kennedy and Elon Musk.

“Certainly you can expect that there’s one particular family member who I definitely want to interview,” she said.

Lara announced she withdrew from consideration to replace Florida Republican Sen. Marco Rubio in December, instead teasing another "big announcement" in January.

“After an incredible amount of thought, contemplation, and encouragement from so many, I have decided to remove my name from consideration for the United States Senate,” she wrote on her X account at the time. “I could not have been more honored to serve as RNC co-chair during the most high-stakes election of our lifetime and I’m truly humbled by the unbelievable support shown to me by the people of our country, and here in the great state of Florida. I have read so many of your kind messages and I cannot thank you enough.”

The 42-year-old previously said she would "100% consider" replacing Rubio, who was nominated as the secretary of state for her father-in-law's administration, while resigning as co-chair of the Republican National Committee.

“I would never say never,” Lara said when asked about her Senate future.
