15-Year Old High School Student Arrested On Attempted Homicide Charges

A teenager is facing homicide charges after attacking a student at an Elk Grove area high school. School officials said they called for medical assistance around 2 p.m. at Monterey Trail High School for a student who had trouble breathing. Sacramento County Sheriff's Department officials said the student had multiple blunt force traumas to the upper body by the student who attacked him. The attacker was charged with two felony counts related to attempted homicide. The reason for the attack is unknown.
