The Governor Gavin Newsom is focused on the protests taking place up and down the state following the death of George Floyd in Minneapolis at the hands of police.
The Governor spoke Monday from a church in Sacramento and said, "the Black community is not responsible for the what's happening in this country right now, we are."
Newsom adding that institutional racism must be rooted out and all Americans must ask themselves how they want to meet this moment in time.
