5 ejected from car after going over embankment in Placer County

Five people survived after a vehicle went over an embankment in Placer County, falling 200 feet.

The incident happened at Yankee Jim's Road near Shirttail Canyon Road, Saturday night with a 20-year-old driver, an 18-year-old man, and three 16-year-old girls.

All had moderate injuries, and are expected to survive.

CHP said this was a DUI-related incident and that the 20-year-old driver was arrested.
