Folsom police got into a violent struggle with a suspect around 1p Tuesday afternoon.
29 year old Jason Knapp was taken into custody after police were called to Riley Street to help in a shoplifting incident.
Knapp then turned violent as he tried to fight with three police officers and an employee at the store. Knapp tried to shoot his gun, but it jammed.
After police tased the suspect, they searched Knapp's car to find cocaine and two more loaded guns.
He was booked on charges of attempted murder, drug possession and for being a felon in possession of a firearm.
