Woman Jailed For Allegedly Shooting Up Lincoln Home

Police in Lincoln say someone at a house in the 1000 block of 6th Street called them on Sunday and said a woman was outside with a gun. They added that she had shot out some of windows. When the officers got there they saw multiple broken windows and large amounts of blood around the home.

The officers say they talked briefly to a man at the home, and he claimed it was 53-year-old Pamela Pallas of Lincoln who had fired the shots. He also admitted to shooting back at Pallas, but he insisted it was in self-defense. Another person living in the house told officers that Pallas had said she was there to kill that man.

Officers followed a trail of blood into the backyard, where they located Pallas with a loaded shotgun nearby. They say she had serious cuts to her arms and had lost a significant amount of blood. Pallas was reportedly arrested without incident and taken to a local hospital for treatment of the cuts.

Once she was out of the hospital, Pallas was booked at the South Placer Jail for attempted murder, shooting at an occupied dwelling, elder abuse, and burglary. She is not eligible for bail.
