Reward Doubles In Effort To Find Person Who Mutilated, Burned CA Puppy

The reward has been doubled to 20-thousand-dollars in the effort to get information that will to arrests and prosecution of the person or people responsible for burning and beating a puppy found in Coachella.

Actress Shannen Doherty and model-reality TV personality Joanna Krupa have both contributed five-thousand-dollars each to the reward.

Alejandra Espinoza Zazueta and her mother found the three-week-old puppy now named Hope about a week ago in a dumpster. The puppy was reportedly left in a plastic bag with her tail cut off and parts of her skin burned off.

"Everyone that I have talked to about this case wants justice for Hope," Espinoza Zaueta said.

Just thinking about the abused puppy makes her extremely emotional.

"It's unfair, and it's really bad that people are capable of doing this," Espinoza Zaueta added, while she struggled not to cry.

Hope was found just weeks after seven puppies were dumped just a block away. She is now being cared for at Veterinary Center in Sherman Oaks.
