Special Counsel Robert Muller Wraps Up His Investigation, Issues Report

Special counsel Robert Mueller has concluded his investigation into Russian interference in the 2016 presidential election and possibility of collusion with associates of Trump campaign.

Mueller delivered his final report Friday to Attorney General William Barr, according to the Justice Department. Barr is reportedly reviewing the report and has said he may send it members of Congress over the weekend.

The report is still confidential, and it is unclear how much of it will become public.

The nearly two-year probe has been a cloud over the Trump administration, it has been characterized as "witch hunt" by the President, and it has led to felony charges against 34 people including six people who served on the Trump campaign.
