Thank you to every A&G listener who donated to Warrior Foundation Freedom Station. The love you displayed for our injured troops--who protected our freedom--was simply amazing.
Expectations for this year’s on-air fundraising event were tempered due to the pandemic’s widespread effect on families and the economy. But, as the Friday edition of The Armstrong & Getty Show concluded, the donation tally had eclipsed previous efforts--with $945,978 in donations flooding-in to benefit Warrior Foundation Freedom Station. Donations continued to roll-in after the on-air event concluded—now totaling more than $1.2 million.
Responding to the outpouring of support, Jack Armstrong & Joe Getty stated, “Our A&G listeners shouldn’t amaze us any more with their generosity and patriotism—but they do. Particularly during this challenging time, we’re humbled to be able to do something to assist the warriors who’ve helped ensure our liberty."
Every year, Warrior Foundation Freedom Station purchases plane tickets for injured warriors so that they can spend the holidays at home and with their families. WFFS also supports our military by providing transitional housing used during both recovery and transition processes.
The Warrior Foundation/Freedom station is a 501(c)3, all-volunteer organization that helps wounded vets recover both physically and mentally from service injuries.
