The Las Vegas community came together to open a new community healing garden. It's in response to the mass shooting last weekend when a lone gunman killed 58 people and injured hundreds more who were attending a music festival. The memorial garden, which sits on about a half-acre, was designed this week and constructed on South Casino Center Boulevard just north of Charleston Boulevard.
The garden features a wall of remembrance, a grove of trees, shrubs, flowers, walkways and benches in an effort to create something beautiful out of something horrific.
